Each Film Festival attendee will be given a number and a change to win prizes throughout the event.
Our first drawing will take place after Kilowatt Ours...
The second after Power Shift...
The third after Bringing Down the Mountains...
The fourth after Earth to America...
And the final grand prize raffle and a chance to win an Energy Star Television will take place after the panel.

About the Films
Kilowatt Hours: Filmmaker Jeff Barrie takes viewers on a journey from the coal mines of West Virginia to the solar panel fields of Florida, as he discovers solutions to America's energy related problems (38 min).

Bringing Down the Mountains: Bringing Down the Mountains was created in January 2006 by three high school students from Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Kaitlyn Walton, Jill Sompel and Stephanie Loughner were inspired to create the film after viewing rough footage shot by their ecology teacher of an active mountaintop removal mine near Kayford Mountain, WV. (20 min).
Earth to America: This hilarious film celebrates life on Earth by taking aim at one of our planet's most serious problems: global warming, and features comedy luminaries such as Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Ben Stiller, and Jack Black, as well as Tom Hanks, Robert Kennedy, Jr., and nearly a dozen others (90 min).Meet the Panel

How To Help

Volunteer Jobs Available:
- Pass out fliers (see below*) to help get the word out to the community
- Bring soda, chips, popcorn, cookies or any other movie snack(s) to share at the festival
- Donate a package of Energy Star CFC light bulbs to be raffled off at the event
- Help with set-up, break-down, or clean up on the day of the festival
- Contact your favorite conservation organization and invite them to join us on Feb. 9th
- Bring a friend, family member, or neighbor to the film festival with you
